I live in the wet, green Pacific Northwest. When not writing, I love to research family history, dabble in art, and work in the garden. I volunteer as an Oblate of St. Martin’s Abbey, am a retired counselor and boutique day care owner. I am a parent, grand parent, and great grand parent.
When I first started writing this series, it was in the middle of a personal crisis and writing was a way of healing. The theme that men can raise children also weighed heavily on my heart. If it weren’t for my belief in families, the unlikely family of monks at St. Alberic’s Abbey raising a child could not have blossomed into the Benediction of Paul series.
