When not writing, I love to research family history, dabble in art, and work in the garden. I volunteer as an Oblate of St. Martin\u2019s Abbey, am a retired counselor and boutique day care owner. I am a parent, grand parent, and great grand parent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I first started writing this series, it was in the middle of a personal crisis and writing was a way of healing. The theme that men can raise children also weighed heavily on my heart.
