I just had to text and tell you that I purchased \u201cWinds of Life\u201d. It was delivered Thursday afternoon and Saturday I opened it and started reading. I can\u2019t put it down!! About Book 2, Less Thunder, More Lightning<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I could hardly put this book down. I consumed it as someone who is famished and\/or malnourished feeding a soul that I didn’t recognize as being in need. The read was cathartic in general. I identified so much with how living in a community where Indian and white was like oil and water. My mental state at times was that I was like Jacob, falling into the river and wondering why I still lived. I believe my mother and other spiritual guides beyond the grave kept me safe. I think if there is anything I can say about this second book is that it opens doors so you as the reader can examine, name and let go of the past that holds you hostage. I cried in the end. You are a gifted and enlightened human being, an amazing woman and someone I call a friend. You will open more doors for many who need to and want to read these words. You have a powerful spirit guide so keep writing<\/em>. \u2013 C.A., Washington<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I finished book 2 this week and I couldn\u2019t put it down! So good! Looking for a weekend I can ignore my family to read book 3! I really appreciated the clearly thoughtful research that went into understanding and writing about Native American culture and the Aps\u00e1alooke in particular as well as the lives and ways of the Benedictines. I found myself pulling my bible down to reference the Psalms quoted to gain better context and it enriched my reading experience.
